The Same and the New

I know, it's sad that I haven't updated very much for a very long time. I've been so busy with school and I don't know why I haven't been able to update this thing... But now that I'm finally on Holidays, I can sit back and kick up my feet for a little bit. Except for the fact that I'm stilled employed at Swiss Chalet. Yep, it's been almost 8 months that I've worked there. Everyone's still very nice and enjoy it, but the distance of which I have to travel can sometimes be a pain. But you know... I learn to deal. :)

So, what exactly has been going on lately? Well, I've embarked myself in two new projects - one is that I'm revamping Erika T. Designs. It now has a new name (Riviera Viba) and a WHOLE NEW look. The second thing is that I have thrown myself into a mission to design slides for a Celine Dion World Tour video with my friend, Ashley, so that'll be something to look forward to seeing the completion of. But that's about all that's going on right now - and Christmas is just a few days away! :)

Okay... For my two impatient sisters... Of whom I love so dearly :P. The photos I took from our day at the Toronto Zoo have been posted up and can be found in the Photo Archive.

And as for all you Erika groupies out there (if there are any :P), I'll let you in on what has been happening lately. I got my front row centre Celine tickets in the mail last Friday! I completely FLIPPED - I was so excited! As of now, there's only one month and three days until I get to see Celinneee! Also, I'll be getting some more shifts at work, so that means more kaching! for me! But I also have to remember to request August 28 off! :) Yay! Anyway... That's all for now. If anything else happens, you'll all be updated!

For those of you who love me until the end of the world, I'll be appearing (along with serveral other Celine fans) in the August issue of the Toronto Life Magazine (comes out in early July, so VERY soon!). So, pick up a copy! :) I'm also trying to expand the Photo Archive, but I keep forgetting to - I will soon. Slowly, but it will get bigger! I promise! :)

My Magazine Debut!

I can't hold it in anymore! It's too exciting! Must share exciting news! Today, I was interviewed for a preview article for Celine's upcoming concert in Toronto in August for the "Toronto Life" magazine. I was asked quite a few questions, but I was happy to be talking about Celine - it was fun! I knew my Celine stuff, and I was proud! I was also told that I have to go downtown for a photoshoot session (for the magazine) on Saturday, which should be even more fun! Given the fact that I have never been to a photoshoot, and also because my friend, Nicole will be tagging along. :D

But, I was dumb enough to not have asked, so I'm not sure which issue this will be featured in, but I'm guessing sometime very soon. Once I find out, I'll let you all know! I can't contain myself, it's exciting! It's my first time appearing in a magazine! Yaayy!

Birthday and Other Things!

Yay! Birthdayness for the one and only E today! :) I've had a great birthday today and also on Saturday when my friends and I went out for dinner at Moxies - it was great! I also can't wait until tomorrow when I go out to dinner with my sister, Ly at Canyon Creek. It'll be fun, I know it will be. :) But I feel like poo right now, and I blame Prior. He needs to stop being a complete butt before I kick his freaking ass. I just wish school would end so that I can make a run for it, stretch out, and just relax and not be worried about getting up at 7:00 in the morning for a good while. Oi, just a week and a half to go, then it's time to say, "School's out!" The time will come, we just have to wait for it. Come on June 13th, come faster!
